Interpreting: Verbal Communication. You must read this before using the Interpreter Directory We are offering this as a free community service. Please do not mix-up Interpreters with Translators. They are two different kinds of professionals with specific skills. Using one for the other can cause you serious problems.
A Interpreter is a bilingual person who verbally interprets between two or more people speaking different languages which demands high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
A Translator, on the other hand, is a bilingual person who translates written documents and able to produce them in format and layout as required by the Customer and the Readers. They are highly skilled in ICT (equipments, programmes and software including language software). If you need a document translated you need to contact Easy-Translations. Go to Translation page for more information.
A Customer is one who is responsible for the whole session including booking and paying the Interpreter. A Client is one whose first language is not English and have little on no understanding of English language. The Interpreters listed in the directory are registered with various Interpreting Service providers. Please use the list to find the interpreter you need. We will continuously add new language and interpreters to the list. We have many more interpreters who are not yet on the directory. Some interpreters can be contacted only after-hours. Visit our HELP page for Guidance and support. Please remember to tell the Interpreter that you got the contact number from Easy-Translations website, not 'Internet' as some people are little apprehensive about internet.
